Sunday Morning Ushers Needed

The fabled Ozark lexographer, Rufus Webster, defines an Usher as a happy person who greets others at the sanctuary door, hands them a bulletin and, if necessary, directs them to a pew; furthermore Webster states, Ushers assist with the offering and communion as appropriate.

All which brings us to the point of needing ushers at both Sunday morning services.  Ushers shall serve for a month at a time. Usher rules and guidelines are

available.  A short training session will be held the first Sunday of each month to go over responsibilities and duties for the oncoming group of ushers.

Using Rufus' definition, I believe with a little bit of practice we all qualify to be excellent ushers.  Sign up sheets are available in the vestibule, don't wait to be drafted.  Should you have any questions please contact Bob Eade, Usher Captain at 239-0456.

Audio-Video Technicians Needed

We have a real need for volunteers willing to learn the audio-video equipment, for filling in when the current operators are on vacation or otherwise unavailable.  If you are interested in learning how to operate the audio or video equipment, please contact Mark Nipper, Chester Cannon, Steve Haase, or the church office.

Bass Player/Singers Needed

Can you play Bass guitar?  Do you sing?  Like to work for absolutely NO money?  Does this appeal to you?  The Praise Band is in need of vocalists and a bass player for the 11am worship service.  If you are interested please contact John or Pam Whitelock, Steve Haase, or the church office.
